The video art works in Unresolved Circumstances explore the past and the present shaping a contradictory reality that tries to build some sense of future.

Based on the configuration of three thematic axis – History, Location and Politics – the exhibition explores several socio political issues in Latin America.  The exhibition begins its dialogue with works that deal with themes related to history in Latin America such as colonialism and its effects, as well as the contradictions of a dysfunctional modernity and its consequences. The second theme, Location, is primarily based on issues related to the urban society with a special emphasis on subjects linked to the city. The last part of the exhibition focuses on current problems such as women issues, corruption, increasing of violence, the war on drugs, the disappear and consumerism, among others.
